Mrs. Judith Thompson holds the post of Deputy General Manager with administrative responsibilities for the Family Island Development Programme and International Trade and Investment portfolio. Mrs. Thompson also has oversight of the Property Management Department.

Mrs. Thompson is a 1977 graduate of Saint John's College and she began her Public Service career as an Immigration Officer with the Department of Immigration. In 1983, she pursued her educational studies at the Universidad Nacional of Mexico, Mexico City where she obtained a Diploma in Spanish. She continued her studies at the prestigious Sorbonne University and the American College in Paris (ACP) in Paris, France. Mrs. Thompson graduated from Rollins college in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and Foreign Languages. She is fluent in French and Spanish.

In her capacity as Deputy General Manager, Mrs. Thompson will oversee the Corporation newly formed initiative of Family Island Development projects and seeking out trade and investments proposals for the development of the Family Islands. She will also seek to develop agro-industrial parks, touristic projects and agricultural hubs in Abaco, Andros, Eleuthera and Exuma.
