Q. How do I get a business plan?
A. Business plans are given to individuals who visit our office fill out our application form and meet with a business services representative to answer a few business related questions.

Q. How long does it take to get a business plan from BAIC after I meet with the business services representative?
A. The standard time for our officers to prepare a business plan is 30–45 days.

Q. How do I do a prequalification with the banks?
A. To do a prequalification go to the bank and find out your credit position, your equity and your savings. After you finish this the bank can give you an estimate of how much funds you may qualify for. With this information BAIC can then curve the businesses to meet there qualifications.

Q. How do I get a loan for my purposed business?
A. BAIC no longer offers loans to entrepreneurs, however we can point you in the right direction to applying for loans from Bahamas Developmental Bank & Bahamas Venture Capital.

Q. How do I join a Handicraft Training course?
A. You can call in and speak with on of our Handicraft Officers and they will collect all of the required information from you and place you in our database. Once a course is coming up and officer will call you to confirm your attendance. There is however a cost of $100 per course in Nassau and $50 in the family islands.

Q. How do I apply for BAIC owned Land?
A. To apply for land you must come in and sit with a property management officer and fill out a form explaining the reason for the land, amount of land requested and a few other questions.

Q. How do I know what land is available and where?
A. For this you have to come in and sit down with one of our property management officers.

Q. How do I apply for a job at BAIC?
A. To apply for a job here at BAIC you must come in fill out an application form and supply us with your resume, cover letter and a valid police record.
