Project Development Department

This department is responsible for the development of business ideas into viable projects.  Its main functions include:

• Preparation of business proposals/plans for submission to financial institutions for funding.
• Preparation of project profiles on viable businesses to use as guides in developing business ideas.
• Business advice/counsel on business ideas.
• Business advice/counsel for business start-ups.
• Business advice/counsel to existing small businesspersons.
• Directs and advises investors in bringing clarity to relevant issues on operating a business.
• Training for potential and existing entrepreneurs (workshops, seminars, etc.).
• Business Management Training.
• Accessing technical assistance.
• Project monitoring and implementation.
• Town Meetings.
• Business Development.
• Identifying viable business ideas that can be developed into successful enterprises.

Funding is usually through the following channels:

• Commercial Banks
• Venture Capital Fund
• Other financial institutions
