As a part of the Bahamas Agricultural & Industrial Corporation’s mandate, to  stimulate, facilitate and encourage the  development of agriculture in The Bahamas, we have launched the marketing initiative, Buy Fresh, Buy Bahamian. This initiative seeks to educate consumers about fresh, locally grown produce, and to explain why buying Bahamian produce is the ‘preferred choice’. To better facilate Bahamian's in purchasing fresh and healthy produce BAIC & The Minisatry of Agriculture are hosting weekly farmers markets at the Gladestone Road Agricultural Park every Saturday.
